A Virginia native, Matt grew up in northeast Ohio where he attended Youngstown State University following his service with the United States Navy. While enlisted, he worked mostly within Damage Control environments where operational efficiency was paramount to the mission at hand. Today, he holds the experience of 20+ years hospitality, focusing primarily on back-of-the-house operations. These combined experiences have provided him with a unique perspective when it comes to understanding the intricacies of the vacation rental industry.

Matt started with Blue's maintenance team in 2017, taking the role of manager in 2019. He thoroughly enjoys working with property owners to create an environment that encourages and promotes a relaxing experience with a local touch!
