Greetings on this Patriot's day 2017. Those of us old enough to remember know what happened 16 years ago today, and we take this time to pause and remember those who were lost that day, as well as to honor those who put themselves in harm's way to save others on that fateful day. I remember where I was on that morning when that plane crashed on live television (I was listening to Imus in the Morning on WFAN Radio in New York City as I was driving to work that day). The nation would never be the same again. We also pause today and give thanks that Sandbridge was not affected any more than we were (or will be) by Hurricane Irma. The entire east coast was on high alert at the end of the week last week as the steering currents for the storm were all over the place. We feel for those affected by the storm in Florida. Our hearts go out to them all.We distract ourselves from those two heady things for a moment today (Patriot's Day, and Hurricane Irma) as we give you a light show of sorts from James Sell who provides us this creative photograph of a sunrise over Sandbridge beach. We admire James for his photographic skill on getting this photo as the sun is reflecting off of the water and off of the sand, but we also admire James' ability to get up early and get the "money shot." The early bird! Thanks James for your photo. We look forward to serving you and your family again soon! All the best from the beach!
